OUR STORY...
Kevin is the youngest boy out of six (6) kids, three (3) boys and three (3) girls. Five (5) of them were in high school at the same time...
Kevin comes from a German/Italian background. Kevin’s dad was German, and his mom was Italian. Kevin was inspired by both his parents to cook at an early age. He watched his mom cooking feasts for his large family, daily, and even picked up tips from his dad while barbequing at family gatherings and while camping with his dad and brothers. Kevin's dad was a cook on a Navy ship during the Korean War. At a later age, he cooked, side-by-side with his mom and dad, always learning, even well into adulthood,
As can be seen above - we all knew he was destined for great things, especially his mom, when his 1st grade teacher shared with her young Kevin's FIRST recipe. Even though “proprietary” we still received permission to share his first ever, known recipe... (lol) I’m sure we can all agree, lil Kev was destined for GREAT THINGS. He had all the makings of a great FOODIE from 1st grade! Like they say, “the proof is in the pudding.”
Kevin and his business partner Genna Fox opened their first restaurant in Anchorage Alaska in 2014. Just after a year and a half later they realized they were out growing the space they were in, so they upgraded and moved into a larger restaurant space. Soon thereafter business was booming so much so, that Genna had to double up her days and after working her full-time day job, as a Nurse Practitioner, she’d come into the restaurant to help close. The team went on to successfully manage and operate the restaurant until August of 2023. Kevin and Genna relocated to San Antonio in 2023 to open an Italian Restaurant with a Tex-Mex FUSION, choosing San Antonio for their early retirement.
INSPIRIAMO Pizza Lounge defines “foodology” as the natural science that studies food, including, but not limited to, their physical structure, sauce processes, content, flavor interactions & levels-of-flavor.
